Biography

Zhengchuan CHEN is an Assistant Professor with the College of Communication Engineering, Chongqing University. He is also selected as 'The Hundred Talents Plan' Distinguished Research Fellow of Chongqing University. He received the B.S. degree from Nankai University in 2010 and earned his Ph.D degree from Tsinghua University in 2015.

In 2012, he visited Institute of Network Coding, The Chinese University of Hong Kong as Research Assistant. From  2013 to 2014, he visited the Multimedia Communications and Networking Laboratory (MCN), University of Florida as Research Scholar co-supervised by Prof. Dapeng Oliver Wu. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in the Wireless Networks and Decision Systems (WNDS) Group leaded by Prof. Tony Q. S. Quek.

Dr. Chen received the Best Paper Award of IEEE High Mobility Wireless Communication Workshop in 2013.  He was also selected as the Exemplary Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Communications in 2015. He is an IEEE member.

 

His research interests include massive machine type communications, ultra reliable and low latency communications, and mobile edge computing.
